BIFI, also known as Bangladesh Industrial Fashion Institute, uses BIFI OS to help its admission team respond to course enquiries received through Facebook Messenger and other approved channels.

Information we process

We may process your Messenger profile identifier, messages sent to BIFI, course interests, admission intent, follow-up status, and information you voluntarily provide during an enquiry. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or identity documents through Messenger.

How we use information

We use information to answer course questions, prepare suggested replies for BIFI staff, manage admission follow-up, provide requested services, maintain security, and comply with applicable law. BIFI OS uses manual approval: a staff member reviews replies before they are sent.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by Meta to operate Messenger and by trusted hosting, database, security, and technology providers acting for BIFI. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect people and systems from abuse.

Retention and security

We retain enquiry and lead information only as long as reasonably needed for admission follow-up, record-keeping, security, or legal obligations. Access to BIFI OS is restricted, secrets are stored separately, and HTTPS is used in transit.
